ABMAT™ Standard Weedmat is for general garden situations and landscaping. ABMAT™ Standard Weedmat has some UV stabilization added, but it is highly recommended that the Weedmat is covered for longer life. It is not recommended for ABMAT™ Standard Weedmat to be placed directly in the sun.

ABMAT™ Premium Weedmat

Specifications

ABMAT™ Premium Weedmat is an excellent quality, UV stabilized hardwearing weedmat. It is especially designed for the nursery industry which requires a product with a long life and durable enough to handle light traffic and still prevent weeds growing through. It also features light green lines to assist with pot placement.

Note: Weedmat comes in a range of qualities. If using in an exposed situation such as a nursery DO NOT use a standard grade weedmat such as those available in hardware stores. A premium grade weedmat is essential to avoid rapid UV degradation.

ABMAT™ Premium Weedmat can also be used as a blackout material.

Mulch Mat

Specifications

MULCH MAT is a top quality spun bonded polypropylene fabric which
has high water and air permeability. The fabric also features good tensile and
tear strength together with a weight of 30gsm. Mulch Mat is ideal for home gardening uses as it is micro-porous and has no visible holes or gaps, which enables greater water permeability than woven weed control mats, and yet it still suppresses weed growth.

MULCH MAT is UV stabilised, however it is recommended the mulch mat is covered to ensure a longer life.
